: I'm very sad to hear about Seamus passing and I'm very glad to have seen him in September.
: Seamus used to be Father Christmas at Covent Garden when I traded there. He really got into character and never let it slip while he wore his Santa costume, even during his breaks.
: If he passed a child in the street he say something to them such as: 'I'll try and get you what you want this year because I know you've been good, but sometimes the elves drop things.' Then he'd get one of the small toys he always carried around in his sack (and that he'd paid for himself, it wasn't part of the job requirement) and give the child a present 'to be getting on with'.
: The children's faces would light up, they really believed him. He really cared about them and about what he was doing. What a star!
: Big love to my Homie xxx

So sad to hear the news about Seamus, I didn't know him very well on Grosvenor Road, I met him in the eighties when he was clowning, We had a lot of laughs.. He will be sadly missed by many people, and like others I'm so glad I got to spend a bit of time with him at the reunion, my deepest sympathy to family and friends. Love Tess
